AT HOBBITS HOLE GAMING GROUP
MONDAY 9th AUGUST 2003
It's been 12 months since the guys from Games Workshop had darkened our doors and on Monday 9th August the clouds gathered over Hobbits Hole, the gaming tables prepared and battle began ....
Veterans and new recruits helped decide the fate of the Campaign as Archaon's hords of Chaos swept south, intent on piercing the stalwart defences of Middenheim! However they met fierce resistance and the good guys Won the Day!
Thanks to Andy Taylor from Games Workshop who with his guru colleague inspired one and all.
While they were here we made the most of their expertise to judge our summer painting competition. The standard of painting of the models entered was really high - even from the young bloods, showing that the hours of painting their mums kitchen tables all colours of the rainbow are definitely paying off!
The Veteran winners were:-
1st Prize Rhodri Morris (who won a £10 gift voucher)
2nd Prize Andy Wong (who won a limited edition chaos sorcerer)
Young Blood winners were:-
1st Prize Eddy Nichols (who won a £10 gift voucher)
2nd Prize James Hazlewood (who won a limited edition chaos sorcerer)
